Garden

• We expanded the asparagus and flower garden East of the house.
• Three raised beds were added for lettuce, Swiss chard, tomatoes, fingerling potatoes, peppers, okra and other vegetables.
• Added a 5 foot electric fence to keep the deer from eating all of the produce. It is not unusual to see up to 20 deer in an evening.
• This year was a bumper crop for apples and pears.

Satellite Internet. I had problems with my 2 year old satellite installation. HughesNet launched a new satellite called Spaceway 3. I upgraded to the new satellite last month with a new dish pictured above and a new modem. So far the performance of the new system has been better than the old system.

Surveying. The line fences on the Southern  portion of our property are deteriorating badly. I am in the process of marking the property line with blazes and pipe.

Dick Brookover. Dick bought some property on Carney Run. I helped him survey the property and look at the timber on the property.

Squirrel. The squirrel taunted me for about 5 minutes before I took out the camera to get the video.
